This year’s Summit will be held at The Omni Hotel - Dallas Park West, located off 635/LBJ Freeway at Luna Road.  The Summit begins Friday evening with a welcoming reception featuring hot hors d’oeuvres, wine & cheese, and an ethics presentation entitled “HIPAA: Update for Physicians.”  After the program Saturday, dinner and entertainment for the evening are at the Studios of Los Colinas, just minutes from the hotel. Enjoy a Wild-West “outdoor” dinner indoors Ð on the soundstage at the Studios.

9:45 - 10:45 am - Heart Power! Program

HeartPower! is the American Heart Association's program focused on heart health and how to keep it healthy for a lifetime. This session will involve the participants in actual physical activity so dress accordingly! The program is tailored for both children and adults.  A special Certificate of Completion will be awarded to those who attend.

Kids and adults alike will be able to experiment in the art of fine cuisine. Participants in this hands- on interactive workshop will design (and eat) the perfect Texas dessert!

12:30 - 2:30 pm - Picnic Lunch &  Hay/Guided Trail Rides
Las Colinas Equestrian Center

Enjoy a private picnic lunch and guided horseback ride along miles of beautiful trails bordering the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. The little cowboys and cowgirls can sit back in the hay and enjoy an old-fashioned hay ride.

Come see where Movie Magic is made...right in the heart of Texas! The Studios Tour takes you “behind the scenes” of a working high tech motion picture and soundstage facility.

As the Summit draws to a close, participants will visit the Studios at Las Colinas for a Wild-West “outdoor” dinner indoors Ð on the soundstage at the Studios. Chef Michael Carroll is in charge of creating your memorable dining experience with a little bit of something for everyone.

Transportation to and from the Omni is provided.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes to participate in the Equestrian Center activities.

This year's Summit is being held at the Omni Dallas Park West's Four Star luxury hotel.  The hotel overlooks the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and is surrounded by a luminous blue lake and lush green park.  The hotel is located in the Dallas "North Corridor" off 635/LBJ Freeway at Luna Road - just 10 minutes from D/FW International Airport.

Registrations received up to one week before the Summit will be acknowledged by mail or by email.  Cancellations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. CST, April 4, 2003 and are subject to a $45.00 administration fee. No refunds will be given after that date.  However, substitutions will be accepted. No-shows are not eligible for a refund.  All pre-registered, unpaid no-shows will be billed the full Summit tuition.  Requests for cancellation or substitution must be made by e-mail, mail or fax.  Resident / Fellow tuition registrations must be accompanied by a letter from their Program Director.
