Dr. Vallabhan attended Texas Tech University where he received his undergraduate degree. He received his Doctorate in Medicine from and completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiology and his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Vallabhan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. He specializes in performing cardiac catheterizations from the arm approach via the radial artery in the wrist in addition to the standard leg approach. He also has a special interest in heart valve disease. Aside from being an all-around good guy, Dr. Vallabhan is an accomplished speaker and has presented at every Cardiovascular Symposium since the program's inception. He is consistently rated as the top speaker at Symposium year after year. |
